"Chicago Educator, Author, International Education Professional & Founder
Rahsaan Liddell is a Chicago educator, author, international education professional, and founder of Global Pathways Education & Publishing, His work connects education, global citizenship, cultural exchange, publishing and a decade of international experience in China.
After spending approximately ten years living and working in China, Rahsaan returned to Chicago with a commitment to helping students and communities engage more confidently with the wider world. Today, his work spans public education, international education, publishing, cultural programming and educational entrepreneurship.
He is the author of Mandarin for the Culture: A Cultural Passport from "The Chi" to Shanghai and creator of its interactive learning companion app. His broader work through Global Pathways Education & Publishing develops educational resources and experiences that connect Chicago classrooms and communities with global perspectives.
Rahsaan's professional journey includes Chicago Public Schools, international teaching and entrepreneurship in China, Loyola University Chicago, DePaul University, the University of Chicago, AmeriCorps and more than a decade with the NFL and the Chicago Bears.
